Full Description: 

The University of Chester has an exciting opportunity for an Exercise Physiology Assistant Laboratory Technician within the department of Clinical Sciences and Nutrition. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for lectures and research projects running in the exercise physiology laboratory. This would include overseeing day to day operations, maintaining supplies, servicing equipment, developing new protocols and providing support and guidance for students and staff using the laboratories. 

The Department of Clinical Sciences and Nutrition is a leading provider of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Exercise and Nutrition Science, Cardiovascular Health and Rehabilitation, Human Nutrition, Dietetics and Obesity and Weight Management. Many of our programmes are professionally accredited by the Association for Nutrition and the British Dietetic Association. 

The ideal candidate will be educated to ‘A’ Level (or equivalent) standard to include Biology and will have experience of techniques and skills employed in practical work for Exercise Sciences.
