Who we are Sport Wales is the national organisation responsible for developing and promoting sport and physical activity in Wales. We are the main adviser on sporting matters to the Welsh Government and are responsible for distributing National Lottery funds. How you’ll contribute We are looking for an experienced individual to deliver performance nutrition support to identified athletes, coaches and sport system partners to improve performance and deliver against Sport Wales’s strategic priorities through working as part of an interdisciplinary team. As the Performance Nutritionist, you will be developing, implementing and monitoring innovative and evidence-based practical nutrition services tailored to the needs of identified athletes and sports. You will be actively involved in tasks that contribute to the development of the performance nutrition discipline. You will be responsible for promoting the role of food to support athlete health and performance and promote an environment and culture within Sport Wales that supports nutrition as an integral component of high performance. 

What you’ll need We are looking for candidates who have experience as a practising Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist and have a minimum of Graduate Registration with the Sport and Exercise Nutrition Register (SENr). Candidates will have experience of providing nutrition support to athletes and coaches to improve performance and of working within a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of nutrition services.
