Physiology Laboratory Technician

Salary range: £22,847 to £24,174 per annum

We are currently recruiting for a Physiology Laboratory Technician to support the Institute of Sport, Nursing and Allied Health with particular focus on Sport and Exercise Physiology as well as Sports & Exercise Nutrition and Physiotherapy. The post holder will maintain laboratory facilities and equipment, and demonstrate use of equipment to staff and students. The post holder will be required to carry out duties across all degree schemes and work in multiple laboratories.

You will hold a degree or equivalent in Sports Science of a related area and demonstrate knowledge of Physiology Equipment (ie. Biosen, Servomex and similar). You will have experience of working in a laboratory or academic environment and will have an exercise, environmental or human physiology and /or a life science background. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential.
