BASES and BPS Collaborative Webinar

19th June 2020

BASES (Division of Psychology) and BPS (Division of Sport and Exercise Psychology) are pleased to announce a collaborative series of webinars for its members. This exciting joint venture will be delivered by world-leading practitioners from the field of sport and exercise psychology, covering the important topics of: marketing principles for a sport and exercise psychology business; inclusive sport psychology; and creating psychologically safe environments for performance and wellbeing.

The webinars are free to attend; and while they will be of interest to all BASES/DSEP members, the content will be particularly relevant to early career practitioner psychologists, and those currently completing SEPAR/Stage 2.

The first webinar will be delivered by Dr Paul Cook (Northumbria University) on the 14th of July, which will explore how marketing principles can be applied to a sport and exercise psychology business (further details on BASES/BPS website). The subsequent presentations by Dr Alison Maitland, Rebecca Symes and Chris Marshall (Football Association) will follow in August.

Further information and bookings details are available on the events listings section of the BASES website.

From there, information regarding the three webinars can be viewed - 'Marketing your Sport and Exercise Psychology Business', 'Inclusive Sport Psychology', and 'Creating Psychologically safe environments for performance and wellbeing'.
