BASES extends its MoU with the Association for Applied Sport Psychology
24th March 2023
The Association for Applied Sport Psychology (AASP) and BASES have reviewed the current Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), extending the current agreement to provide reciprocal access to each organisation’s publications. There is also a commitment to deliver a minimum of one collaborative professional development event (e.g., webinar, workshop) every two years.
Through the updated MoU, BASES members are now able to access Case Studies in Sport and Exercise Psychology (CSSEP) by logging into the Member Area dashboard of the BASES website. AASP members will be able to access The Sport and Exercise Scientist journal (TSES), including the full back catalogue, and have access to the full archive of the BASES Expert Statements. This partnership is for the purposes of enhancing the activities of both BASES and AASP and fostering co-operation in an international context, for the benefits of professionals involved with the respective organisations. "We are delighted to extend our existing partnership with AASP until the end of 2025. Building on our established relationship, the revised partnership provides a commitment to new joint CPD activities for BASES and AASP members during the lifespan of the agreement, replacement journal access for BASES members to access the journal Case Studies in Sport and Exercise Psychology, as well as simultaneously increasing the international visibility and readership of TSES and BASES Expert Statements via their access for AASP members." said Dr Adam Gledhill FBASES, Chair of the BASES Division of Psychology.
