BASES Heads of Department Virtual Forum (HoDs)

The BASES Heads of Department Forum was established as a day of information, interaction, discussion and networking for sport and exercise science Department Heads and Course Leaders.
Now into its 17th year, the Forum remains a highly popular event at which key topical issues are debated and best practice is discussed and shared. This year’s online event will be a day of information and insights for those with leadership roles within sport and exercise sciences academia. There are a number of presentations and discussions, including the following topics:
- Heads of Department roles, challenges and strategies for being successful
- Dealing with COVID-19 and its long-term legacy
- Developing Professionals of the Future
- The future of teaching, learning, and assessment in sport and exercise sciences
