BASES partners with Pearson to support young students

BASES is excited to announce a new partnership with Pearson, focusing on enhancing the learning experience for Pearson BTEC students interested in pursuing a career in sport and exercise science.

As the professional body for sport and exercise sciences in the UK, BASES has confirmed it recognises the BTEC National Sport and Exercise Science qualifications in developing relevant and expected scientific knowledge and skills in the sector. This recognition validates the quality of the programme and assures universities that the qualification meets high academic and professional standards.

BASES will be working with Pearson to provide access for centres and BTEC students to find out more about what the Association can offer, including:

• Outreach projects
• Information about careers in sport and exercise sciences
• BASES Higher Education Institutions’ outreach hubs
• Access to online webinars
