BASES Student Conference 2022 - Registration now open

The University of Huddersfield is delighted to be hosting the Annual BASES Student Conference on 26-27 April 2022. This is an exciting time, as this will be BASES first in person event since the pandemic. The conference will be hosted in the state-of-the-art Oastler building which was recently built in 2017. The building has environmental sustainability in mind and is one of the University’s greenest buildings on campus. It's positioned at the front of the campus, with direct access to the sport, leisure and eating spaces. 

All delegates and speakers will have free access to the state-of-the-art gym facilities for the duration of the conference.

The Gala Dinner will be hosted at the John Smiths Stadium, home of Huddersfield Town FC and Huddersfield Giants RLFC. The final details are being discussed for our guest speaker at the dinner but we are very excited! Look out for more details coming soon.

The University is situated in Huddersfield’s vibrant, cosmopolitan town centre and has great transport links to major cities via train or car. For more information on transport routes to Huddersfield, please see further details.

Covid-19: Staying safe – instructions and regulations for students, staff and visitors to campus

We kindly ask that all delegates and attendees adhere to the University of Huddersfield’s covid-19 secure guidelines here. Please note, this document is updated regularly, so please do familiarise yourself with the regulations before attending the campus in April.
