BASES Supervised Experience - enrolment deadline 19 October

10th October 2018

Are you an aspiring sport and exercise scientist?

BASES has developed the Supervised Experience (SE) programme to provide individuals early in their career with opportunities and support to develop the competencies you will need to become a BASES accredited sport and exercise scientist.

You can register for SE in either Spring or Autumn each year by completing the online application form and submitting required documentation.

The current Supervised Experience registration period ends on 19 October 2018.

You must also have a contract in place with a BASES Registered Supervisor (click here to view list)

Once you have been accepted onto the SE programme you will be allocated a place on the compulsory entry workshop.

For those registering in October the entry workshop is on 20 November at Leeds Beckett University.

You will also need to book yourself a place on three core workshops, offered over two days to reduce travel and accommodation costs.

Professional Ethics for Sport and Exercise Scientist – 20 November, Leeds
Reflective Practice for Sport and Exercise Scientists – 21 November, Leeds
Safeguarding Welfare in Sport and Exercise Sciences – 21 November, Leeds
