BASES welcomes new Professional Development Manager
8th March 2022
Late last year, to support the ambitious strategy and operational plan, the BASES Board agreed to split the current Professional Development and Partnership Manager role, undertaken by Sue Watson, into two posts. Sue will take on the new Partnerships Manager role and in January we went out to advert for a new part-time Professional Development Manager post.
We are delighted to advise that Lisa Phillips will be joining BASES from 14 March 2022 as new Professional Development Manager, working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Commenting on the appointment, Lisa said, “I've been in the exercise and sport industry for 20 years and I’m incredibly invested in continued professional development for myself, to help me become a better professional and also to assist others in becoming the best versions of themselves. As a Senior Tutor/Assessor and IQA, I’ve had the responsibility of organising and creating CPD for different teams as well as monitoring their involvement and development. I’m always keen to offer a range of CPD that covers both essential information as well as opening new avenues and possible journeys to explore. Supporting teams and individuals in their development has always been a focus of mine.”
We look forward to welcoming Lisa to BASES and her new role.
