BASES welcomes new Professional Standards Administrator

5th March 2024

Due to the growth of the SEPAR programme, late last year, the Board agreed to create a new SEPAR Administrator to wholly support SEPAR. We are pleased to confirm that Jane Gillott will undertake this role. To add capacity to the team and support all other accreditation and endorsement programmes, the Board agreed to recruit for a full-time, 12-month fixed-term Professional Standards Administrator.

We are delighted to advise that Alex Windwood will be joining BASES from 11 March 2024 as our new Professional Standards Administrator, working Monday to Friday.

Commenting on the appointment, Alex said, “I have worked within the fitness coaching industry for around eight years. Alongside several customer service, charity, and corporate administration roles, I have also been a fitness instructor for ‘Be Military Fit’ and currently the Physical Training Instructor for the Band of the Royal Yorkshire Regiment, alongside my own personal training business. I am always keen to develop my own professional skills and knowledge base, and as a CIMSPA and UK Coaching member, I understand the importance that accreditation and recognition has on the careers of individuals and organisations alike. To be involved in the process of providing these opportunities is very exciting and I look forward to working with this great team of people too.”

We look forward to welcoming Alex to BASES and this new role.
