Future Trends in High Performance Sport

The Leaders Performance Institute is collaborating with the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science, CQUniversity Australia, Exercise & Sports Science Australia and Management Futures to explore the trends shaping the current, and future state of high performance, through a first of its kind, cross-sport industry survey and report and series of content and CPD accredited co-created learning series to deeper learning.
Professor Fabio Serpiello, Director of Sport Strategy from CQUniversity Australia, said: “We are delighted our academic leaders can bring their sport research and innovation expertise to this important collaboration with the Leaders Performance Institute and the other partners. The outcomes of the report will certainly shape global decisions in high performance sport for years to come.”

The Future Trends in High Performance Sport report will explore all aspects of performance, to unearth the biggest topics, challenges and focuses of those operating at the sharp end of high performance sport. The report will provide expert analysis into the current and future state of high performance, and shed light on what organisations will need to consider, and take action to stay ahead of the performance curve.
Commenting on the collaboration, Dr Mitchell Finlay, Chair of the BASES Sport and Performance Division, said: “this research by Leaders Performance Institute and partners is a timely exploration into the current and future trends in the ever-changing landscape of high-performance sport. To support members, those affiliated with each organisation and the wider high performance community, The Leaders Performance Institute, The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, CQ University Australia, Exercise & Sports Science Australia and Management Futures will help apply the learnings from the report, through co-created articles, podcasts and CPD-accredited learning series, to support better performance outcomes.
