How to apply

For an informal chat about the roles and time commitment, please contact one of the Division Chairs (details within the Division Hubs member-only pages), the Chair-Elect (Z.R.Knowles@ljmu.ac.uk) or the Executive Director (iwilson@bases.org.uk).

The appointment of the above positions will be via a formal, open and transparent recruitment process, with the aim of attracting the widest range of the most suitable candidates from the BASES community. We are committed to equity, diversity and inclusion as part of our recruitment policies and therefore, we strongly support applications from BASES members from diverse backgrounds. This includes, but is not limited to, females, members of ethnically diverse communities, members with a disability, or members of LGBTQ+ community.

To apply, please submit a single page of A4, outlining your interest in the role and how you would add value to the work of that Committee / Advisory Group. Please email this to iwilson@bases.org.uk by noon on Friday 7 May 2021. Please mark this email as confidential and within the subject header, please add the name of the Committee / Advisory Group you are expressing an interest in.

Thank you to our current members who serve across our Committees, Advisory Groups and Special Interest Groups for their ongoing hard work and efforts for BASES. We believe the new governance structure will allow for more members to become actively involved with key developments for the Association as we look to progress the 2021-2025 Strategy.

We look forward to welcoming more members into the respective groups and to advancing the work of the Association.
