Academic Subject Leader: Sport & Exercise 

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months Maternity Cover 

1.0FTE 

The School of Sport and Exercise are seeking to appoint an Academic Subject Lead (ASL) in Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences (Maternity cover). This is a pivotal leadership post in the school, being a member of the school senior leadership team, and provides the opportunity to influence both within the school and across the University. To be successful in this post, you would need to have a good appetite for continuous improvement and a desire to lead people. You will need to have valuable experience of partnership working as well as a proven track record in curriculum development and successful course validation. Successful candidates will be joining a diverse and passionate community of staff and will be expected to contribute to provision across the School. 

The Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences community includes provision at undergraduate and postgraduate level, including the disciplines of Sports Therapy, Sport and Exercise Sciences, Strength, Conditioning and Rehabilitation and Sports Performance Analysis. We welcome candidates from these disciplines or others within the field of Applied Sport and Exercise Sciences.
